my favorite?? I think dallas les mis, it made something I’d always loved and made me love it more and the sybolism and acting is incredible i.. am so gay for everything in it

so the barista’s name is sarah and she ends up dating kevat (the goddess (of sorts) of spring). she’s a ravenclaw. doesn’t really have any idea of what she wants to do with her life? but her and kevat like, set up a watch system for The Depths (which is the big bad) and it’s basically this, thing between universes that consumes magic and it somehow got Out of it’s interdimensional jail and is trying to just Eat Everything. sharon the vampire is pessimistic, but looped into things bc she’s friends with this old man who’s trying to save the world, and so basically she mostly just kicks some sense into people when they need it but also is good at sneaking about but turns out to be a Terrible spy.

im like, always grateful to it bc it? gave me the initiative to practice drawing? which, it was terrible but it got me to where i am today and for some reason i stuck with it and now it’s grown in a really cool direction?

it starts out pretty much the same as it originally did when it was intended to be a 60 page thing about the seasons personified, but they’re not all straight as originally intended, and there’s a byronic bi vampire who’s pretty cool, or these brothers who are “the chosen ones” but the prophecy actually doesn’t come true, or the lesbian barista with no magical inclinations but manages to put up a big fight against the big bad villain.

And there’s so much more depth to it now?? i’ve got motifs and themes and it’s very Not cis, straight, and white anymore.

idk even when i hate it or i hate my art style it’s. still there bc i’ve got to do it justice or smth at this point bc it’s improved me so much, but also now it’s worth it too, which i didn’t feel for a while, so it’s just. . nice. & cool idk

i called my 2 reps and told their assistants who answered the phone that they need to oppose bannon's appointment. the first person seemed like they were actually keeping track and actually cared, the second was v dismissive :/

you did it!!!! steve bannon is a vile man and every single voice denouncing him is important.  don’t feel discouraged by the second staffer: you interrupted their day and they’ll remember that.  eventually word will get up to their boss that annoying people keep calling saying words like “bannon” and “racist” and “bad,” and it’s slowing down their workflow.

i’m proud of you for calling!  you deserve a warm glow of relief that today you did your part resisting trump.

it’s hard to measure accurately, but no, not yet. it’s hardly a fraction of what it used to be, though, and the damage is irreversible at this point. sigh, humans...
