Day 25
Dear You, Before you, the world was black and white. The Earth revolved around the Sun and the moon revolved around the Earth. 2 + 2 equaled 4. Everything made sense, everything had a purpose. Then you came along and turned everything to colour. Suddenly there were shades of grey and pinks and purples and blues. The sunset was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen - full of pinks and oranges and reds and yellows. My favourite colour became lilac, the colours of my walls, the ones you broke down to let yourself inside. Nothing made sense anymore but somehow I didn't mind. This is meant to be a letter to someone who gave me my favourite memory but the truth is, your existence is my favourite memory. The idea of you is the warm feeling inside my stomach, the flutter behind my heartbeat, the smile on my lips. Your hand is mine, your arms around my waist, your lips on my forehead. Your jacket on my shoulders, your hands intertwined in mine, your shirt hanging round my waist. You are my favourite memory. You always were. Hannah
