When sea vegetables have their own Facebook page the game is up.

If you read today's Evening Standard review of Grain Store, this cryptic remark by Fay Maschler will make more sense.

Reviewer David Sexton describes the ingredient of a dish he had there, oyster leaf:

"This plant, Mertensia maritima, a member of the borage family, also known as sea lungwort, is the height of foodie fashion (...) It even has its own Facebook page. No foodie who hasn’t tried it yet is going to be able to hold her head up among her peers this summer."

Who cares about Michelin stars?

Andy Hayler: In the first UK Michelin in 1974 there were just 23 starred UK restaurants. Two have retained stars ever since. Which ones?

Fay Maschler: Dunno. Who cares?

Andy Hayler: Well, perhaps those interested in UK restaurant history. I take it you are not a fan of Michelin?

Fay Maschler: You take it right. I am interested in restaurant history but the two are in no way synonymous.
