So, I recently finished my rewatch of Mer and I have thoughts

Spoilers for MerSMP (I mostly watched Theo's perspective but will be spoilers for things that overlap)

First, if Faye is a multiversal version of Fable Kai then I guess that makes Theo Multiversal Mumboo?

That would have been so interesting if Theo had done the multiversal swap. Mumboo and Theo are very different characters plus I can't imagine it would be that fun to find your multiverse counter part is fem when you're a trans man.

Second, Heyhay still makes me cry... /pos

Thirdly, Theo means a lot to me in ways I can't explain. The discussions he has around gender & dysphoria and rejecting his past and struggling with the future hit me in ways I didn't know I could be hit.

Fourth, more SMP series need serious weddings.

I thought this was a joke but the more I think about it I think the concept of a wedding or an event like that could do a lot for worldbuilding in given series and it does a lot to develop characters. I think more series could benefit from those types of additions. Plus they add a bit of levity to stories and sometimes that's needed.

Fifth, I've heard it said that a classic is a story that never finishes saying what it has to say &, given the number of times I've rewatched episodes and come away with different thoughts or different ideas, I think it's safe to say Mer is a classic.
