I may have started watching the show again cuz feeling nostalgic. Definitely a show I loved as a kid and will continue to love even if I admit I’ve outgrown the show a bit since. Even so I’m obsessed (but for how long? Who knows). Welcome to the hyper fixation club you absolute brain rot of a show 💕

Kyle's original concept as being purely a Necromancer honestly has so much potential. The base nature of his powers being Death itself, and that acting as a crucial element in why he never had friends and stayed distant from people. Giving off an aura that carries so much underlying fear and intimidation, because he himself represents rot and decay. After all, it's canon that he's been the cause of at least two 'tragic' mishaps at Milkweed.
I had this plot bunny idea bouncing around after Robles posted the Adult!Kyle art where Kyle casts a spell on himself where he will he revived after every time he dies. The only catch to this, is that he is sacrificing bits of his humanity each time. This entails the appearance of physical rot.
The first time it happens he dies young, (possibly before or even as a result of the encounter where he kills Sigmund) and not much changes except the color fades from his skin and his eyes become pure white and hazy. Milky, glowing, and witness to countless nightmares.
If he continues to be revived, eventually he will look no better than zombies that emerge after spending years buried in the dirt. Flesh soughing off and unable to remember his life or carry any attachments to people he loved once.
Other death-related abilities that would be cool also, maybe?
For him to be able to actually see when someone is near their death (something like dark clouds shrouding their person) and seeing/communicating regularly with those who have already passed as well.
/alright time to tell me to shut up this has gotten long enough LOL
