Whenever an unsuspecting guest enters The Silver Pot for the very first time, they will immediately gaze over to the lone woman standing behind a very classy counter while the rest of the staff are doing their daily tasks in a humble little restaurant in the middle of a lonely village of Nueva Ecija.
There stood a woman with the sternest eyes and the most intimidating scowl, looking back at them expectantly. Bakunawa, as she called herself, greeted them with the warmest welcome despite her cold and hard appearance. She offers them a delicious meal that can fill the belly with satisfaction and the most refreshing drink that rejuvenates the spirit.
This woman, who is a great chef, is also a legendary soccer player from the great Suzara clan. A respectable clan filled with well-known soccer players throughout the soccer world. Although, she is the last living descendant with no surviving kin to aid her life and rely on within her grasp.
Despite the delicious dishes she created that can tickle the tongues of many, no one yet in this world can create a concoction that will remove the bitter taste of her past.
For this lonely goalkeeper treads a greyish path filled with crossroads of uncertainty, with her only goal in mind as to whether to uphold the forgotten clan's tradition as a legendary player or to be free where she can no longer bear the chains of her past.
Yet the latter is hard to forget on her part.

It seems that fate came to Bakunawa like a punch in the gut when she met him, not because she found a spark in her life or something, but rather she met him who is somehow related to her in some kind of way. Is it because of the stress they are experiencing as a descendant to uphold an unforgettable legend that is shouldered upon them? Or is it because of the indescribable desire of missing someone so dear to them even though one knew that they will never come back forevermore? No matter what, their connection as players is unwavering due to the respect and understanding of the traumatic experiences that one has witnessed throughout their life. One has vanished without a trace while one ended in a tragedy that left her a visible scar to haunt her life. They hold on together as players who pity each other’s past yet competitive in their home fields.

Her disgust to him is paramount to every other emotion that she expresses to him when they first met; other than reaching each other's throats due to their differences and beliefs, they are a combination of destruction due to one's ignorance and one's stubbornness. Bakunawa is undeniably frustrated whenever she is pitted with this man but it lessens a bit once she understands his own woes with the help of his friends; she grows a hint of affection and care that is indirect to him throughout the process. It is best that she never show much on how she feels, as a way to not let herself get hurt in the process. Probably due to the fact that she kept losing people so close to her too much in her life. She doesn't want to let him be a part of her connective misfortune too. Yet in his part, he acts the same as well.
Ja Nein
Sympathy, that is one thing she kept in mind whenever she always gazes at his dark blue eyes. It is her sympathy that made her get so drawn closer to the man even though she treated him with respect and honor. They somehow understand each other's minds, probably due to their relatable difference from their respective teams. Ja Nein would appreciate her kindness while Bakunawa admires his tenacity, and between them... they are unbreakable as teammates. These two are kindred spirits of improving skill and determination, as a way to help them stand out from their team and prove the world with their abilities that can go beyond their natural boundaries. There is probably more between them than what meets the eye, but one will assume who they really are if they desired to get a beating from them that is beyond of physical means.
