It’s almost November! Time for a fresh round of OC questions. For two kiddos of your choice:

They’re invited to an ugly-sweater party. What sweater are they wearing?

Would they rather go to a pumpkin patch or pick apples? Are they the type to bake pies with what they collect?

They’re caught unexpectedly under the mistletoe… with their crush. What do they do?

They're invited to an ugly sweater party. What sweater are they wearing?

Mari: She and Vaas would probably just get a regular sweater, slap pictures of Jason and Citra on them, and be like "well they're ugly people so it counts right?" (Note I personally do not think they're actually physically ugly i just dislike their characters and so do Vaas and Mari, obviously)

Nonia: Has the most hideous, raggedy Budweiser sweater. It has the logo on it and some weird holiday-ish designs. This probably exists somewhere in real life tbh bc Budweiser doesn't play about the holidays.

Would they rather go to a pumpkin patch or pick apples? Are they the type to bake pies with what they collect?

Mari: No pumpkins or apples grow on the island, but let's say she and Vaas do it while on a trip somewhere else (they live and travel the world TO ME). I'm gonna go with apples, they'd probably spend the whole time throwing them at things or each other though. So there wouldn't be any left for a pie lol. Not that either of them could make one in the first place...

Nonia: I can see Ricky and Lucy planning a big family visit to the pumpkin patch, which will obviously include poor Nonia and Reese. Neither of them enjoy it at all, or at least they put on a front that they don't. Nonia wouldn't bake but she'd gladly give her picks to Lucy to use.

They're caught unexpectedly under the mistletoe...with their crush. What do they do?

Mari: She gives Vaas her signature butterfly eyelashes (the origins of her nickname, Mariposa) and he pulls her very close and kisses her far too intimately for the audience they have, whether it be the pirates, strangers, or Jason and Citra. Nobody wants to watch, especially not Jason and Citra, as it probably escalates to more than just a kiss.

Nonia: Reese says to her, "come here darlin'" and pulls her into a kiss using his fingers on her chin, and she has to stand on her toes to reach him as usual. She's embarrassed as hell to do it in front of people, but everyone thinks they're cute so it's fine.

✍️✍️✍️ for mari pllleeeease!!

🖊 Mari's first way to impress Vaas was to kill a cassowary, and she did that and more- TWO cassowaries and a hog, all in the same instance. Then she killed 5 human beings because he told her to, one of which she tortured to death because he shot Vaas in the arm. Such devotion 🩷

🖊 Mari had sniper duels with Jason around the island, which she played fairly. They'd wear body armor and shoot at each other like it was simple paintball, and whoever got in four shots on the other would win. She was mean to him over the radio every time and it was funny.

🖊 LOVES the blue marlin. Her favorite fish to look at and to catch. One day, when she and Vaas went on a fishing trip and caught one, she was really sad that they'd use it for meat and cut it all up because it was a beautiful specimen. But a while later, she found a replica mount based on that exact, specific fish hanging in the compound- a gift from Vaas. Fish as a love language.

🖊 Mari's favored weapon is the Dragunov SVD rifle. When she first got to Rook Islands, Vaas allowed her to pick a gun from a table of various models and she chose that. Later on, it ended up customized to the point the only thing that distinguished it as its model would be the stock's design. The color, sights, so many things were customized.

🖊 For Mari's first birthday as a Pirate, Vaas got her a necklace which is a thin, metal rectangle pendant that he had one of the more artistic and handy Pirates engrave it for her- it says "Te Amo ♡"

🖊 Before she and Vaas became official, Mari stayed in a shipping container converted into a small "building." Vaas had been saving it for someone special, and decided Mari was that person. However, once they decided to start sharing a living space, it became empty again.
