‘Hottest Singles in Spanish Football’ ... or something like that (Leila Ouahabi x Reader)
cneasai prompt: Leila x reader where leila gets jealous.
Warnings: some strong language, definitely a lot of sex talk (if that makes you uncomfy, skip this one)
Leila had worn that dress to drive you crazy. There was no other explanation in your head. She knew that you loved it. She knew that it always left you a little turned on. Especially when she wore it somewhere where you had to keep your hands to yourself. Even though it had been eight blissful months together, you both were still keeping your relationship a secret.
She was currently across the room, laughing at something Mapi was saying. You could hear the sound in your head. Her laugh never failed to bring a smile to your face. You flashed her a smile when her eyes briefly met yours.
"Are you listening to me, Y/N?" your manager asked, slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, definitely," you answered, not taking your eyes off Leila.
"Great. Here she comes. Remember to say hi," he whispered.
"Huh, what?" You turned your attention back to him. When you had spaced out, he had been telling you that a magazine was interested in featuring you for a new story. A blonde woman in a tight blue dress and stilettos walked up to you.
"Y/N, this is Hannah Abbott. Ms. Abbott, Y/N Y/L/N." You stuck your hand out to shake the woman's hand. "Y/N, Ms. Abbott is in charge of the campaign and will be your point person for the photoshoot and the interviews."
"Okay," you answered, pretending to understand.
"I'll let you two get acquainted." Your manager walked away, leaving you alone.
"I was a bit surprised when your name came up during our brainstorm," she admitted to you, running a hand over your arm.
"Why's that?" you asked, taking a small sip of your drink. You were used to women hitting on you but not generally in a business setting.
"Well, it's hard to believe you're single."
You coughed, the champagne having gone down the wrong way. Did you just hear her correctly? "And why is that relevant?" You looked down at the hand that was still on your arm.
"It's Spain's Hottest Singles in Football. Obviously your relationship status came up."
"It's what?" you nearly shouted. Telling yourself to calm down, you lowered your voice back to a normal volume. "Sorry, I think I got my wires crossed with my manager. What's this article?"
"We're showcasing ten of the hottest footballers who are still single."
"Right. Right." You nodded, taking another sip of your drink. You were already dreading telling Leila about this. You asked Hannah to tell you more about it and the more she told you, the more the dread set in. You rubbed your hand over the back of your neck, really cursing yourself for having spaced out when your manager told you about this.
Unbeknownst to you, Leila was watching the interaction between you and Hannah from across the room. Her eyes had narrowed to near slits watching the woman run a hand over your arm.
She nudged Mapi. "Who's Y/N talking to?"
Mapi glanced over, smirking when she saw the women. "Hannah Abbott. She's a reporter. And god's gift to gay women everywhere. That woman knows her way around the bedroom," she said laughing.
"Is there any woman at this party you haven't slept with?"
"You. Y/N. Alexia. I'm sure I could find a few more if I look hard." Mapi laughed again as she watched Y/N blush and rub a hand over the back of her neck. "Looks like she's working her magic on Y/N tonight."
"What the fuck for?" Leila took a long sip of her drink.
"Y/N's single. Hannah's single. Sometimes two single women have sex together. Geez, calm down, Leila," Mapi said, taking in the white knuckle grip Leila had on her glass. Leila had yet to look away from Y/N. "Y/N never goes out with anyone. That girl's been abstinent since she got to Barcelona last year. Let her have this."
"What the hell's that?" Leila said, gesturing to you. Hannah was handing you a business card that she had written something on.
"Probably her number?" Mapi took a step back when Leila let out a low growl. "You okay over there?"
"No. Hold this," she said, shoving her glass into Mapi's hand. She stalked across the room, ready to wrap her hands around the gorgeous blonde woman's throat. Fortunately for her, by the time Leila made it to Y/N, she had left Y/N standing alone.
Leila grabbed the card from your hand. Rolling her eyes at the neat phone number written on the back, she tore it into small pieces.
"Hey! I need that," you grumbled, reaching for the pieces before your girlfriend could destroy them anymore. Had you looked up at her, you probably would have kept your mouth shut.
"And what exactly do you need her number for?"
"We're meeting this week." When Leila growled again, you unknowingly did the same thing as Mapi by taking a step backwards. Looking up, you were met with anger in your favorite brown eyes. "What's wrong?" you asked in a low voice. You wished you could reach out to touch her. She always calmed down when she felt your hand on her.
"Like you don't know," she said, gesturing over her shoulder, towards where Hannah was getting a fresh cocktail.
"How do you already know about that?" you asked, your eyes widening. If Leila already knew Hannah Abbott, that could only mean one thing. "Did she ask you, too? God, that would make me feel so much better." You let your eyes roam down Leila's dress. "I mean, you're gorgeous," you whispered. "Why wouldn't she ask you as well?"
"What?" Leila exploded. After a moment of thought, she asked, "Is that something you want to do?" Adding a third person had never been something Leila thought about before. You and her had a pretty healthy sex life and she'd never felt like anything was lacking.
"Well, I never really considered it," you said with a shrug. "But if you're in, then I'm in."
Leila blushed. "Why wait? Let's do it tonight."
"We're not ready for that. She has to get all the other people coordinated as well." You put the pieces of the card in your pocket, hoping you would be able to piece it back together at home.
"How many people are there, Y/N?" Leila's eyes widened and you can see her look of confusion.
"I think she said there are ten of us but maybe there's more. I'm not sure. I think she invited Ferran, as well." You hoped that by telling her a fellow FCB player you both were friends with would be there as well would help soothe the concern evident on her face.
Leila's mouth dropped open. She'd never expected this from you. You had been shy about sex at the beginning of your relationship. And now here you were, offering her sex with nearly a dozen other people.
"Uh no, no I don't think so." Leila suddenly grabbed your arm and started dragging you towards the exit.
"Hey, what are you doing? Let go," you said in a hushed tone. You tried to remove your arm from your girlfriend's vise-like grip unsuccessfully. "Leila, this place is full of reporters." That seemed to get through because she dropped your arm and turned to you.
"Meet me in the hall outside in five minutes," she said before she stalked back to Mapi. You watched her take a glass from Mapi's hand and finish it in one sip.
You had known she was going to react badly to this article but this was something else entirely. She looked completely disgusted by the idea of this article. You shook your head. Leila was, like, mad mad. You were in public, though, and had no real way to calm her down right now. Setting your empty glass down, you went to wait outside for her.
Exactly five minutes later, Leila came out. Without saying anything, she walked right by you. You quietly followed after her, unsure what you were walking into. She walked down the hall and opened another banquet hall door, sticking her head in and finding it dark. She held the door open and motioned for you to go in.
"Look, Leila, I know you're mad," you said once you were inside, "but can we talk about this at home?"
She shoved you back against the wall and kissed you, hard. Her hands groped at you as her tongue slid over yours. You grabbed her hips, trying to steady yourself. Your knees felt like jelly and the wall wasn't doing a very good job of holding you upright. Her hand gripped your hair so tightly you nearly yelped.
"I don't share. You're mine," she breathed out when she broke the kiss. "Say it."
"Of course I'm yours." You squeezed her hip. "One silly article doesn't change that, baby."
"What article?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"The article Hannah is working on? I thought you said she asked you to be part of it, too?"
Leila stepped back, letting out a nervous laugh. She wiped a hand over her mouth.
"Did you just wipe my kiss off?" you asked, pretending to be offended.
"No, obviously." She put her hands on her hips and looked at you, amusement all over her face. "I thought she was hitting on you."
"Well she was doing that, too." The fire came back into Leila's eyes. You pulled Leila back towards you before she could stalk out of the room. "But I politely turned her down." You rubbed your thumbs along her sides, waiting for the smile to come back to her face. "Would I do that to you?"
"I thought, um," she let out a nervous laugh.
You kissed her cheek. "What'd you think?"
"Um," she cleared her throat. "Mapi said she's great in bed."
You waited for her to continue. When she didn't, you said, "That's great for Mapi. But like I said, I turned her down. My girlfriend's pretty good in bed, too," you whispered, nipping at Leila's neck.
"Yes, well, I thought she invited you to have sex. With me and ten other people?" she said, giggling nervously.
Your lips stilled. And you couldn't stop the full body-laugh that erupted out of you. Leila hit your shoulder, telling you it wasn't nice to laugh at her. She buried her head against your shoulder, hiding her red face. You held her against you as the laughter continued to roll through you.
"Oh babe, I love you so much," you said through the laughter. "Thank you for that. I've been so bored all night."
"You're welcome, I guess. And when you've finished laughing at me, you can tell me what she really wanted. What's this article?"
Your laughter immediately died. Leila eased back, looking up at your face, taking in your expression. "Oh god. How can it be worse than what I thought?"
Cringing, you told her about the article. The fire immediately returns to her eyes and she pushes away from you. You watched her stalk around the room, muttering curse words. Luckily, as far as you could tell, it was mostly directed at Hannah and the magazine and not at you. Rubbing a hand over your temple, you let her rant.
Finally, she came back to you and kissed you senseless, telling you to remember that when you were smiling for all the woman who would soon be drooling over you. With a smirk and a pat to your cheek, she left you there stunned in silence.
There was no way you'd be forgetting that kiss anytime soon.
