Why Net Neutrality matters
The way it is now we pay a flat fee for internet access, and we have access to the entirety of the internet (some sites we do pay for and it is within their rights to charge for their content. And some sites are illegal but other than that we have access to everything.)
Without Net neutrality we will have to pay for the internet, and pay for access to all sites, essentially all websites and apps will be like those pay-per-view porn sites. Want to check your facebook and see how your friends are doing? You have to have the social media package to even view facebook. Want to watch YouTube? You must have the streaming content package (which will likely cost a lot because Comcast lost a lot of business to streaming services like Hulu, Netflix and YouTube. And I'm sure they'll be bitter about it)
Small businesses will suffer a lot. With net neutrality small businesses only have to pay for the internet at a flat rate. They have a fairly easy time setting up an online presence, ads, online orders, etc. But without net neutrality small businesses will have to find a way to pay extra to even have access to their websites, and customers will have to pay extra fees to even see the buisness' websites just for the privilege of paying for goods. You'll have to pay for internet, the business site package, on top of paying for goods and shipping. Repealing net neutrality will hurt businesses, the backbone of America as well as the consumer.
Remember how everyone quit cable because they didn't like paying a ton for all those 'premium sport packages', HBO, the movie channels, etc. The internet will slowly turn into that bullshit without net neutrality.
