The girl was terrified. This wasn’t how she expected her day to go. Walking home from school, only to be shoved in a van, and now shoved into a cage? This was pretty messed up.
Her eyes went wide as she saw the creature inhabiting the cage, her instinct to take a few steps back, pressing against the corner of the cage. Oh god.. was that a dragon? Did those really exist?
The voice in her head startled her, causing her to jump slightly in surprise.
“I-I don’t know.. I d-don’t know what’s going on..” she responded aloud.
He withdrew again to the back of the cage, closing his eyes. Still, he spoke to her mind.
[They threw you in with me. Either they want me to kill you, or they want me to eat you.] He opened one ice blue eye to look at her calmly. [I'm not interested in either option.] Luckily for her, he supposed.
Normally he'd be all raring to rip and snap any stranger coming into his space, but she clearly wasn't in league with any of the humans he was used to seeing around. He suspected she'd been sent here by someone, but didn't want to overwhelm her with too many questions. And he was tired. So, so very tired.
As he shifted slightly, some of his scars and newer injuries would be visible to Miyuu- silver where the black scales had healed over, and dull scabs where he had fresh injuries. He was... Worn, and tired, feeling older than his fifteen years of life.
A soft scraping noise came from his tail as the club like structure on the end dragged across the concrete flooring. Between Miyuu and the dragon were a series of deep, long scratches in the floor, the concrete having been scraped up enough to reveal the rebar and solid metal underneath. The floor also had some spots of dried blood, presumably from when the creature had been tossed back in here when his healed injuries were fresh.
The eye closed, and he sighed softly, puffs of smoke rising from his nostrils. He shifted his wings, feathered like a bird's, and curled up again. But he wasn't sleeping yet. Just resting.
