Klaus should be left alone; or better yet, he should remove himself from any chance of interaction with others. The black cloud above his head is prominent and easy enough to see with a quick glance. Yet, he insists on staying right where he is, out in the open. There is a drink in his hand and a scowl on his face.

As luck would have it, Finn appears. Klaus feels a measure of relief. Finn will not pander to him. No, his older brother will trade him barb for barb, which is exactly what he wants.

“I am surprised to find you here, brother.” Only he could make a term of endearment sound like an insult. “I would have thought you would have run far away from us miscreants as you can get.”

Before she really thinks about it, she has stepped into the Mikaelson home as if she has a right to be there. Not exactly, considering her only real connection is Klaus ---- and the nature of their relationship always seems to depend on the day in question.

Camille comes to a stop when instead of finding the man in question, she comes across Finn first. Instinct has her shrinking away. After all, her contact with him has been minimal at best and her mind is tainted with the version of him that Klaus knows (as told to her through their so called therapy sessions).

Finally, never one to totally shy away, she gives him a tentative smile. “Hello, Finn,” she says, hoping that he is at least in the mood to humor her. “I didn’t mean to intrude.”
