Cobb smiles as Kaiya lays her head on his lap. He reaches a hand down and runs it through her hair. He strokes her cheek with his hand that was once running through her hair. “Comfy?” He grinned with a soft laugh.

Shelley is such an incredible writer and such a sweetheart. On their multi ( @fcrfcraway​ ) as well as their sideblogs ( weallneedtosleep, omxra, recognisemyface, and several others ), they do such a good job of building on their characters, exploring why the act they way they do, what their motivations are, what they were feeling during canon events. As if that wasn't enough, they are also one of the nicest people to talk to ooc !

din   is   trudging   through   the   night   market,   the   streets   packed   with   people   as   he   makes   his   way   back   to   the   ship;   grogu   had   been   left   alone   back   at   the   razor,   and   din   was   just   a   tad   concerned   about   it.   so   much   so   that,   initially,   the   mandalorian   walks   past   the   groaning   form   slumped   on   the   ground   without   a   second   thought---   the   mangled   face   looked   so   familiar,   however,   that   the   man   feels   compelled   to   turn   around,   one   hand   on   his   blaster   as   he   kneels   next   to   the   figure;   in   the   darkness   is   hard   to   tell,   but   din   is   nearly   certain   that   it   is   mayfeld.   ❛   fuck.   ❜   din   muttered,   checking   that,   indeed,   the   man   still   had   vital   signs.   he   felt   trapped   between   a   rock   and   a   hard   place---   it   would’ve   been   far   too   easy   for   him   to   simply   turn   around,   keep   walking   back   to   the   ship   and   zooming   out   of   the   planet   before   migs   woke   up;   in   the   state   he   was   in,   din   wasn’t   even   sure   if   the   man   would   wake   up.   his   consciousness,   however,   would   never   let   him   live   it   down.   ❛   mayfeld,   wake   up.   ❜   he   called   out,   voice   modulator   cracking   slightly   at   the   words.   din   wraps   his   arms   around   the   other’s   ribs,   pulling   migs   up.   ❛   can   you   walk   ?   or   am   i   going   to   have   to   carry   you   like   a   fainted   princess   ?   ❜

MORNING AFTER STARTERS | Accepting

Cobb sits up in bed, swinging his legs over the side as he rubs at his messy hair. He blinks a couple of times before moving to grab for his clothes, pausing when he hears Cara start to move. A smile crosses his face when he feels her arms wrap around him and then tilts his head when she whispers in his ear about staying in bed for the rest of the day.

“I don’t know, stay in bed all day with a beautiful woman or go out on patrol to make sure the town is safe?” He hums softly, leaning his head back. “Looks like you’re winning, Cara.” He smirks with a soft laugh.

Cobb settles in between her legs, staring down at her as he pins her down. “I figured you’d try harder, Cara.” He smirks down at her, loosening his grasp a bit. “Wanna go again, princess?”

Cobb pulls at the armor, wiggling a bit. “It’s a tad bit uncomfortable on me.” He grumbles, wiggling again; trying to set the stormtrooper armor correctly. “Would you rather me in nothing instead?” He teased with a sly grin.

“The other guy put up quite the fight.” Cobb explained, nursing his jaw with some ice wrapped in a towel. He moves his jaw and groans as pain shoots through it. He places the ice back on his jaw and tries to smile at her. “I can guarantee he looks worse than I do.”
