rushed around to find a prompt and chose to probably pick an old one by accident but if you'd like to do one-- “But I want to hear you sing.”

The Slayer is not verbal often, this he knows. 

He typically sticks to gestures or sign language, which Vega had taught himself to understand. He has no issue with it. 

It just made the instances when the Slayer did speak more important.

Like now, as he hovers outside the doorway to their room, he can hear mumbling. There’s a rhythm to the words, so he suspects the Slayer’s singing some sort of song he remembers. 

Inky seems to be engrossed in his voice, as her ears are forward and eyes alert. The Slayer himself is writing something down, scribbling in an old notebook.

Inky squeaks a greeting when she realizes Vega’s at the door. The Slayer whips his head around, a slight flush showing on his cheeks when he realizes he’s been listened to.

Vega pads in, settling into one of the chairs, propping his elbows on his knees and folding his hands to hold his head. “Do continue,” he prompts. “I want to hear you sing.”

The Slayer seems to consider it, ducking his head at the attention.

And then he starts up again.

some quick plot ideas ive thought of: DOOM SLAYER REUNITING W/ DAISY.........................

tbh i’d love to do a thread of your doom 3 marine meeting one of my muses - my doom slayer perhaps? 👀

OH and i’d love to do a thing of either my doom slayer or chief interacting w/ seraph/maykr!vega... especially chief bc i REALLY want him to interact w/ sentinel society and maybe get all sentimental and Sad about the spartan-ii companions that he knew that’re dead now (COUGH COUGH sam COUGH)

but of course i’m still down to continue the threads that we currently have going atm!

PLEASE IMAGINE vega prints a tiny party hat for inky and they both wait for the slayer to come back from slaying to surprise him. vega makes him a littel gift. inky hates the hat and is constantly trying to rub it off. everyone is happy except inky, who is furious at the indignance she is suffering

howdy!! :] i’m doing well, atm! it’s super hot here but that may just be because i’m a wuss when it comes to warm weather. just playin games and writin mostly.
