some kid was following her around like a lost puppy.

it wasn't just any puppy, but it was one of those kind that would constantly whimper and cry for attention. after the blight, there hadn't been anything that she had done to make others think that she was suddenly a nice girl who had leisure time for pets — she was busy trying to find out the extent of her power and what she could do for the next blight. long story short, she didn't have time for this. 

"do you need something?" she finally asked, stopping in her tracks so that she could turn around to give the boy a look. her eyes did a quick scan over, trying to recall if she had seem him anywhere — but nothing. he didn't have anything that stood out to her that made him particularly special. yuji raised her eyebrows and stared at him, not minding the curious looks they were getting. "because i have things to be doing and you're distracting me."
