Not in her wildest dreams would April imagine she would become such a proeminent character on television. She was by all standards not what WWE expected from a DIva: Short, without model-like looks and she didn’t own a single pair of high heels. And yet there she was, Divas champion. It was hard to believe that was happening to her, but they had stated she was selling t-shirts and people liked her, and besides all old white men hating her for not being hot they didn’t hate her enough to not want the money she made.
The only problem was the fact that she was the only one at the top, and didn’t feel right. She had always been awkward with some other women, and her title reigns weren’t helping it. April tried, she really did, asking the higher ups for more women to be pushed, for her to have competition, but they ignored her. Victoria was the one who always gave her the cold shoulder, and despite they not being friends before April still wanted to have a good enviroment, that’s why that day before a show she went after the other women, finding her backstage. “Hey Victoria,” she called, trying to push past her own awkwardness. “Can I talk to you for a second?”
