some nora carpenter hcs as almost no one talks about her and it makes me sad :')
loves celine dion
reads a lot of terrible, cheesy romance novels - or she at least used to before her husband passed away. also likes historical fiction novels focused on women. after her husband died they were replaced by a lot of self-help books and books about grief that didn't really help
her parents are very strict and would have blamed her for tim's death. her younger sister is lovely and was absolutely heartbroken when she and tim died. probably the only member of her family that would have been willing to talk to kimberly if she ever reached out post-canon
bisexual. you can pry this out of my cold dead hands
was a stay at home mom until her husband got sick. works part time at an office and her colleagues are kind of condescending towards her.
tim has always been closer to his dad, seen as the more 'fun' parent. he and nora have gotten closer since he died, but tim wants more space and she's not ready to let go a little. i honestly think it would have gotten better rather than worse if they both survived but do not have the time to elaborate rn
her husband was a nice man but so deeply, painfully boring
in an au where they all live or no death stuff happens after the pile-up, she gets along with eugene the best. she doesn't mind thomas or kimberly. she's... meh about kat but still has some time for her, and does not like evan. her least favourite by far is rory, the exact type of person she's scared of tim becoming or befriending. i ship nora with my interpretation of rory's mom so them not getting along is extra fun to me lmao
