Shops telling customers this are misinforming the public whether intentional or through a misunderstanding of what FDA Approved means. Let's all take a step back and realize at this point, we are all in the same boat wondering how this is going to play out. Are there some companies that have more of a chance to get their PMTA filed with the cost and labor hardships it would put on a company... Yes. Will filing a PMTA guarantee approval from the FDA or that the PMTA will even be reviewed for approval by the FDA in time for the cutoff date for pulling products off the market - NO. Here's reality- as of right now, your vape shop can sell you non-FDA approved eliquids and hardware just like they could sell those same exact goods a month ago.
