Out of all of your stories, which one is your favorite? Tell me what inspired you to write  mit and what made it your favorite. ❤️
My absolute favourite of all time is Let Me Drown. It hold such a special place in my heart and I am immensely proud of it. Furthermore, I feel like LMD has helped me grown a lot as a writer, delving deeper into parts of writing that I earlier haven't been as comfortable with.
Honestly, I don't exactly remember what inspired me to write it. But I remember knowing I wanted to explore a love triangle between Jake, Bradley and a girl. There's an interesting dynamic between Rooster and Hangman in the film, too interesting to not be intrigued. It's obvious they have some kind of history and while I'm a big fan of Hangster, I remember wanting to do something else.
At first, I had a fic called Mid-Air Collision planned, where Bob's younger sister visiting base and falling in love with Jake. It never made it out of my head but when the idea for LMD slowly crept up on me, I decided to use parts of MAC, as to not letting them go to waste. Recycling is good for nature.
I knew early on how I wanted the fic to play out but knowing and executing are two very different ideas, as you know. @writercole is a huge reason this fic has become what it is and I'm forever grateful for their help.
Exploring Bradley's issues (which I saw clearly in the film) was the root of the fic, knowing I could base the plot around his downfall early on, which ironically, is one of the reasons it's my favourite. The dynamic between Bradley and Thea vs Jake and Thea are vastly different and makes it a true joy to write (and a nightmare).
I don't want to say more as to not spoil too much, even though most you can guess how it will end. But there's a lot in store for these people and we haven't seen the last of Bradley, nor Athena.
