Happy Fire Emblem day! 💙
day 8 of my own personal fire emblem femslash february. in my humble opinion, minerva is the og, the progenitor, the ruling queen of fe wlw. like look at her. that's a lesbian. everything about her, textually and visually, reads Gay. and for the pairing in specific, who doesn't love two big sisters looking out for each other after they spent their whole lives looking after their baby sisters?
Minerva chibi for the FE Scuffle collab!! 🐉
first set of archanea charms is finished! i hope to make more soon.
I’ve been thinking a bit about Fire Emblem: Awakening, in part for ideas and in part just cause it’s fun, but then I thought about Cherche, Gerome, and Minerva.
Gerome’s Minerva last saw Cherche a decade ago or more, she probably watched her die. For the past 10 years she’s been partnered to Gerome and probably does not have the conceptual understanding of the fact that the future children traveled back in time. So this wyvern sees Cherche, her partner who was dead, for the first time in years riding a different wyvern (still Minerva, but I’m not sure if she could recognize that). It just seems sad, to have been separated from such an irreplaceable person for so long only to be reunited under circumstances by which she has been effectively replaced. And that, without being recognized, nor the understanding that this Cherche is not her Cherche.
It’s devastating to consider, a tragedy that I can’t even be sure the tragic figure comprehends.
