Something crossed my mind about Fire Emblem Heroes today (this will spoil books III, V and the Ice & Flame Tempest Trials series if you haven’t gotten a chance to play those yet):
So the folks behind this game have been using Forging Bonds and Tempest Trials as a way to further explore characters who survived the campaign books they got introduced in, and most recently they’ve given Dagr a chance to do some stuff.
Storywise this is Dagr taking a break from leading Niðavellir for Reginn to see how she’s doing. Right? Well, it’s reminded me of another FEH character who’s running a nation in the game’s present:
Laevatein.
I think outside of one or two mentions that she’s running the nation thanks to being identified as “the only royal still alive” at the end of Book III, this girl has not really had any reappearances or further mentions as of time of writing. Am I wrong here? Does anyone know any points where she got brought up again? Are any of those alts of her meant to be after she’s taken the throne and the “youngest princess of Muspell” stuff a way to not spoil what happens in book 3?
Questions have begun to develop in my head. What’s happening in Muspell? How’s Laevatein been handling the role of her nations Queen? Has she had any chances to meet with the rest of the cast at all? Does she know that her sister is actually still alive and killed the god that helped get her homeland started (or at least gave them an idea of what to call it)?
For all I (and possibly anyone else) knows she could be off trying to build a new form of government because trying to run a nation when all you know is swordfighting, rituals designed to sacrifice yourself to your father and whatever other stuff your sister taught you is hard.
Maybe there’s already some writings made of these just waiting for them to reach the right place in the roadmap. Could be in the next Forging Bonds, or some event scheduled to happen during the March of next year. Again, I may have overlooked some little update to that situation in a previous event.
While I flail in some arguable direction of a place of eternal flames I guess just let me know if anything changes?
