Hey @bae-leth, I have something for you. I don't know if it's any good but I tried my best. Haven't written fanfic in a good long while though.

Jeralt: Hey, kid. Am I interrupting something?
Byleth: [I just finished working]/[I just finalized next week's lectures]
Jeralt: You're really doing your best to teach those brats, aren't you? That's good. I thought you might be in way over your head.
Byleth: [I am fine]/[It's a bit overwhelming]
Jeralt: Is that so? I'd say you're doing well for yourself, kid. I have heard nothing but praise from your colleagues.
Although... I think you might have spooked some of the students here.
Byleth: [I have?]/[How so?]
Jeralt: Your, ah.. blank expression seems to disturb quite a few of them. I can't blame 'em. Other than that, it's just baseless rumors flying around. In that regard not much has changed since I left.
Byleth: [Was it really that similar?]
Jeralt: Yes. Sure, there are new professors and a new set of students every year, but everything else is just the way I remember it, from the way the students act to... Rhea. She hasn't changed at all since that time.
Byleth: [What do you mean?]/[She hasn't changed at all?]
Jeralt: *sighs* Look, kid, I don't know much about Lady Rhea but she hasn't aged a day. Please don't let your guard down around her. I don't know what she is scheming but something feels very wrong about her.
Byleth: [How do you know?]/[I agree]
Jeralt (if you answered "How do you know?"): Instinct? Intuition ? Call it whatever you want but please listen to me and be careful. Can you promise me that?
Jeralt (if you answered "I agree"): Good, you're perceptive. I don't know if Lady Rhea is a threat to us but I need you to be careful, kid. Can you promise me that?
Byleth: [I promise.]/[*nod*]
Jeralt: It's good you understand. I have my hands full with my missions already and need to be sure you can keep yourself safe...
Speaking of missions, I have to go now. I'll be gone for a few days. But I'll talk to you again once I'm back. See you then, kid.
