first that comes to mind is definitely godspeed! this one is wonderfully written, and the cliffhangers leave me absolutely q u a k i n g (today’s update for example, lmao.)

Azure Moon is one i really enjoyed, mostly for the writing... the quality of the prose is so good. the language used is gorgeous!! idk it just makes me feel a certain way. it hasn’t been updated in some time, but I’d urge you to check out the current chapters anyway, bc I really liked it!!)

In Time’s Flow is one i lOOvEEE!! The first chapter starts with Byleth being executed bc of something he did in the current timeline... which is a result of him trying so many different things in his previous lives to reach a happy ending. and it really drew me in!! everything is so detailed, and the character relationships are excellent to boot

a moment together (is all i can give you) is also nice!! one thing i adore about this is the angst... Byleth gets thrown into the past, but in this one, Jeralt already has Bylass as a daughter, and doesn’t know who Bylad is. the FLAVOUR... is excellent. i’m excited to see how it all goes down! 

Pale Blue Seeds with Bonemeal - the EMOTIONS. GOOD. i essentially just making the crying face every time i read any mentions of the past in this one

          fall’s stare pierces like a sword’s point, even if there is only one eye to it.  perhaps that’s what makes it so deadly that people can’t look away.  there’s such concentrated repulsiveness, unbridled darkness loaded into one gaze that it’s undeniable.  not once does that stare leave the brunette that dares to play with fire, spill gasoline next to its very flames.  and oh, the sensation of the woman intentionally touching them in such a manner ignites something in them, and yet it isn’t something cinder fall is equipped as of yet to ignore.  touch starved, yet simultaneously socially unaware is the monster born of powerlessness, and their own hand settles upon her calf in reciprocation of physicality.  

          a chuckle escapes their chest, light and delicate like dancing embers crackling in the sky.  “ now what have we here?  hello there, little songbird. ”  they smile, but rather than their expression being laced with evil, it’s more mischief than anything else.  “ how interesting.  our dear hubert has explained to me how invested you are in refraining from violence.  and by this stage in the war, surely you know what i’ve done.  perhaps you’ve even been told to stay out of my way.  i do hope you haven’t got some romanticized idea in mind to try to tame me —- ”  their fingertips slip up her leg languidly, just to her lower thigh, and cease movement there.  their smirk only grows.  “ so why have you sought me out today, dorothea? ”

i’m going to preface this with the fact that i’ve only seen a movie version of the black eagles route, and that that is the only route i’ve seen.  i don’t mind spoilers for other routes at all, and i’m trying to read up about them so that i’m fully informed when i interact with fe3h blogs.

essentially fought her way into local gladiator style tournaments in fódlan to make extra money for her and her mother, became very well known among the commoners this way because she Won Every Tournament she participated in (albeit them being mostly among commoners, though her most recent couple before she started school at the academy were against some lower-ranked nobles’ children) which is where—

a certain lord ozpin ( who is also One Who Slithers In The Dark bc we gotta make him shady somehow ) took notice of her and offered to pay for her education at the monastery and protect her mother if she’d become his knight after she graduated

hero class cause fuck sexism !  she has a sword + shield (named milo and akouo respectively)

stupidly physically strong. doesn’t realize her own strength sometimes. pyrrha nikos op please nerf (i kinda had to add this in bc i dont think her polarity will work as a crest & pyrrha’s strength has to translate somehow!)

her true motive is just the want to protect the commoners!  she knows she’s ridiculously strong and wants to use that strength to protect those who can’t protect themselves.

anxious (but not to the extent of bernadetta), spends a LOT of her time at the training grounds to get away from big crowds of people and students

will add timeskip stuff after i read up more about the other routes!  the only timeskip stuff i have right now is black eagles route plotted with a friend of mine who intends on writing edelgard at some point,

          when she initially touches them, cinder is startled, entire body flinching ( only slightly ).  it is unlike them, paranoid and alert at all times, to be taken by surprise in such a manner.  perhaps if it were hubert, cinder could excuse their failure to take note of the other presence, but instead, it’s —- “ edelgard. ”  it is easy to tell, by intonation of voice and stirred expression, that fall has been caught off guard.  the confusion in their gaze would shock most —- there’s a childishness in cinder, as if they’ve been presented with an unexpected gift, and it makes their amber stare glisten.  carefully, they shift their palm so that they can slot their fingers between hers and tighten the grasp between their hands.  “ you frightened me, ” cinder murmurs, allowing themself a tiny chuckle and playful smile now that they know they have no case to keep up their ferocious facade.  “ done with meetings early, then?  i doubt someone like you gets free evenings often. ”
