For the word and a headcanon thingy, how about Frederick and food?

I've always loved Freddy with a secret sweet tooth. He is careful to not consume sweets openly, as he thinks it would ruin his authority or reputation or something. But, from time to time he does sheepishly take a candy when Gaius offers some to the Sheppards after a hard battle. His love interest accidentally stumbles upon him enjoying a lollipop early one morning as he cleans his weapon and they silently admire him from a distance before returning to their tent.

i really think that frederick and robin's support conversations were a missed opportunity. of the main cast, frederick is probably the person whose opinion of robin changes the most over the course of the game.

in the beginning, he is openly mistrustful and sometimes even slightly hostile towards robin. but by the end of the game, frederick believes in and is just as attached to robin as everybody else (despite the fact that he was actually... 100% correct in the end about robin posing a danger to chrom and not being what they seemed).

i was pretty bummed when their conversations ended up being mostly about trying unusual jerkies and jokes about frederick's fastidiousness.

apparently frederick used to serve as a de facto tactician for chrom before robin. that could have started interesting conversation. perhaps even a conversation of frederick feeling insecure about feeling replaced as chrom's "right hand man"?

even maybe just more insight into him coming around to robin. maybe bonding over realizing that whether robin is faking their amnesia or not, it's clear through robin's actions that they have goals in common: namely, keeping chrom and the other shepherds safe, even at their own expense.
