6: black midi in october 2022! they were fucking awesome i had a blast and i'd love to see them again

7: probably vinyl. the conveniency of streaming is nice and i collect a lot of cds too but i love the variety you can get with how the pressings look + the ritual of playing a record in general is something i really love

9: it's a toss up between car seat headrest and nine inch nails... i listened to more csh 2021-22 but will toledo's lyrics are always stellar and continue to resonate with me. as for nin the fragile is my absolute favorite album of all time

I've been struggling a lot lately with the thoughts of, "If I wasn't trans, this wouldn't be an issue." Nothing makes me feel worse. And I know it is difficult on the people around me. I just keep thinking of this song lyric that's always stuck with me. We wish our lives were different, but then they wouldn't be our lives. I'm trying to take things day by day and embrace who I am instead of imagining the possibilities of being someone else. It makes me... begin to feel hope.
