Day 15 of #fearfreefebruary - learning. I love learning new things, especially in my sewing. I decided to put some pintucks on my petticoat. I’m using linen and as it’s very wobbly, I decided to pull some threads to make sure they were even. On the back side I just matched the edges of the line and then sewed them together. Day 14 of #fearfreefebruary - forgiveness. I wasn’t sure what to post today, but I do have a lot of unfinished projects just waiting to be picked up. I have learned this can be a good thing as I get bored sometimes and it’s nice to have something else to work on. These stays were something I stated before 2020, and they got pushed to the wayside as other things pile up. I’ve missed some days, but here is day 12 of #fearfreefebruary - travel. I used to do a lot of traveling as a member of the SCA, but as everything else, all events have been canceled. Day 9 of #fearfreefebruary - joy. This skirt was one of the first piece of clothing that I made, all hand sewn, for everyday wear. It brings me joy knowing I made it and it’s been amazing for the cold weather. Day 7 of #fearfreefebruary - inspiration. I’m always inspired by favorite characters and it made me very happy when the theme for Foundations Revealed competition was decided last year. I decided on my love for Anne of Green Gables and her passion for story, especially The Lady of Shalott.
