TOY are a cool group from London who have been on our radar for about 7/8 months now. After seeing them twice this summer, Sam became instantly hooked on them. They've garnered some serious attention from larger bands like the Horrors (another stache favorite) and just about every music magazine in the UK. While they may not be as well known in the states, their recent single "Left Myself Behind" (available as a 12" single or a digital download from Heavenly Recordings along with B-Side "Clock Chime") was remixed by Death in Vegas's Richard Fearless. Stripped of nearly all the vocals, the track is left as a synthy, bass driven, Krautrock number that could easily accompany a night of driving way too quickly or a night of raging a little too hard.
