1/5 You know, I was so broken about that MC game for so many reasons. (plus real life didn't go well either... ugh). Particularly it was Ox's debut! He's a player that I genuinely want to do well before he even played for us as he is exactly what I would do if I'm a footballer. He genuinely believes in the club and Klopp, even prefer a pay cut over Arsenal.(I told my friend that I would prefer a pay cut to play under Klopp lol) How many footballers do that?

I hope he’ll get his justice when he’s in the starting 11. Secondly, Sadio… Can’t say it was totally unjustified because lifting his leg & collide with the opponent’s face can consider as a dangerous act. (However, like you all have said, could be yellow if goalie wasn’t injured) But what made me feel devastated was Sadio didn’t had the intentions to hurt the goalie :( And the impact of Sadio’s card on the rest of our players was totally 180* What would have been if it’s a yellow?

And because this is an important year for Klopp, this lost made it more heart wrenching. There seems to be more and more doubters within the fans as time goes on. They didn’t understand that Klopp is a manager that builds a team, not buying one. Building something needs time. It can’t be done instantly. Klopp is a manager that nurtures talents, turning them into diamonds. He not only cares about the sport, but also his players and the fans. I have never seen that on other managers before.

As a fan of Klopp since his Dortmund days, I know his capabilities and it’s very sad to see people losing their faith on him. But no matter what happens, I will no doubt continue to support and believe in him. But part of me is glad that there is this wake up call. Wake up from the Arsenal trashing dream because although we were good, we are still miles away from a title winner. (we looked good because frankly speaking they were awful in that game).

The positive of the MC game is, this came early in the league. Because with this lesson, the team will able to learn the lesson and still have time to change things. Waiting for a good comeback on Wednesday :) It’s Anfield! Also waiting for Phil to make a good comeback ;)

Thank you for the messages. And yes. Agree with it all. It’s easy to forget the tough times, and hard to understand that we don’t have the Russian mafia or Oil money backing us that we can splash 100million+ on 18 year-olds. We are trying, and these are steps in the right direction. Thank god for sensible heads like FSG up there.

Lewandowski and Hummels cost 6M combined, Kagawa/Piszczek were for free, Aubameyang was 9M - and look at where they are now. That’s just how he is. He makes a diamond out of the rough. It’s just that the English football culture is toxic. I love English football, but it’s one of the things I appreciate about Bundesliga. Apart from Bayern who can buy whoever they want (even then someone like Hummels cost approx. 35M) the League isn’t made of money. So their fans aren’t all high up in the clouds. 

In addition, we were bound to get thrashed. Arsenal do it on a daily basis, Spurs got thrashed 6-1 by Newcastle. Atleast for us it was City. But like you said, its good it came early. Time to learn and move on.

same, i love when the club makes vids like this, and just seeing them all happy and smily and kloppo all competitive and like i wanna win but i dont want my boys to be sad, the whole thing is so perf, and they all look so happy

Can't understand why people believe ships. Maybe I was already have a matured thinking when I got into shipping non canon ships so I always knew it's fake. You know, sometimes I feel guilty for fueling shipping within the fandom like saying 'X ship is real!'. I thought it was harmless because I used to think everyone knows it is fake. But now that kids (or grown ups as well) actually believe?! I kind of refrain myself from fueling unless I know that person well enough to know that it's fake :/

Even romance fanfics I kind of wonder if I should continue writing. The only types of fanfics I would give to the person involved are non romance & career based fics (eg Götze transfer decisions) or canon ships like Thomas/Lisa, Lewy/Anna (even that the plot must be a positive one). I am bamboozled by ppl that send shippy fics that’s so disrespectful. Don’t know whether they want to show their writing skills or they want them to “admit” the ship (eg 1D fandom)… idk.

I'm shocked to read that anon said even footballers received fics from fangirls?? How many of them received? Even if a ship is real they shouldn't do that?! Like the famous ppl want it to be private fans should respect it? Also it's scary that there are people out there harassing wags for their belief in shipping. Crazy.            

I know and understand where you’re coming from; I think many RPS writers know the problem of feeling guilty, not wanting to appear “too serious” about their ships. I think I generally wouldn’t send stories of ANY kind to the players, even though, as you said, if it’s well written and based on REAL things/friendships, it can bet very poetic and carry an important message, but yeah, it all depends on WHAT you want to express. I really find it awkward and downright terrible to think about people who actively try to “make their ships happen” by showing non-canon stuff to the people involved. That’s the kind of obsession that really shouldn’t be fueled.

But I still think it’s absolutely okay to write fictional/non-canon stuff for your own and the amusement of people who want to read it.

Sanni! I feel almost the same as you! There aren't much "soul" in the team. Especially the departure of our lil captain and Manu injured, Thomas not performing and Lewy not exactly happy... I feel I've lost interest in this team.😟

I’m glad we’re not alone in this, but I still have some hopes left. Reblogging some of the posts about the kit presentation actually lifted my mood, seeing how it included some of my absolute faves at Bayern, Thomas, Manu, Javi and David. It will still be weird and HURT like hell not to see Philipp around and yes, there ARE many problems at the moment, but... I still have hopes that the “soul” will return one day. Feel hugged!
