I've decided that the back half of this year is about pushing myself, and conquering my fears surrounding the things I desire and want to accomplish in my life. I want to be my own role model and girl crush... But I know achieving that requires I overcome the mountains of doubt, self-deprecation and paralyzing roadblocks I have put in my own way - so I've decided to do the things that seem most scary to me right now, to prove to myself that fear is just a feeling and it's not a truth... One of the things I've decided to do is the PPC pole dance competition in august. I have no intention or desire to place, I just want to experience this thing that seems so impossible and I'm honestly having a blast outside of my comfort zone - it's fun, exhilarating and inspiring (and a tad frustrating too haha) - I urge everyone to try and push yourself to do something that you want to do but tell yourself you can't or shouldn't for fear of looking like a fool and failing.
