Dailies - 04/02/18 The “Bear Celebration” is a tradition surviving in three small villages from the Pyrénées, during which a hunt for a bear is staged between throughout the streets. The hunter galvanizes the village people to join him in his courageous search for the beast, as his girlfriend is used as bait, attracting the monster with her “woman smell”. At the end of the celebration the beast will be shaved and re introduced into human society after having been rid of its wilderness and savagery.
