Stay Out of the Moonlight: One of our characters becomes a monster in the moonlight.
One of the many things Yuka had never experienced in her own time was a good old fashioned scary movie. Too embarrassed to ask anyone to accompany her, Yuka spent her day off in the movie theater, screaming at every little scare that popped up on the screen until she was ejected from the theater for disturbing the other patrons.
But the damage had been done. When Yuka returned to the base, she was jumpy and restless. She was sure that she wouldn't be able to sleep at all, and so she ingested all the coffee she could to keep her awake and avoid the nightmares. Of course, a new, overwhelming experience combined with caffeine was a bit too much for a young, impressionable avatar to handle, and...
Hiromu had been the one unfortunate enough to wander out into the lounge area late at night. All of the lights were off, which was normal enough, but when he turned them on? That's when things got weird. First, a hiss. Then the 'monster' leapt out from behind the couch, fingers splayed as if to display a vicious set of claws.
Hiromu only stared before sighing. "Koizumi-san...isn't it a little late for this sort of thing?"
The vicious pink beast only snarled in response. It was as if she was no longer human at all!
"...ah, I see." The evidence displayed itself: several empty mugs of what smelled like coffee. Rubbing his eyes, though, Hiromu was far too tired to tolerate her strange behavior. Placing his hands on Yuka's shoulders, he turned her around and pushed her all the way through the hallway to her room. "You just need some rest, Koizumi-san. Go to bed."
"...RAWRRR!" Yuka growled.
Hiromu simply pushed her through the door. "Good night, Koizumi-san."
Yuka blinked. Leave it to Hiromu to be completely unresponsive when she needed it. Instead turning her beastly behavior on her cats, Yuka fell asleep on the floor after a few wrestling matches and didn't remember a thing about the incident the next morning...
