Asus has unveiled its latest phone silently during a big exhibition in China on Saturday, called Pegasus 2 Plus X550. Asus has launched the first Pegasus series smartphone last year, that was Pegasus X002, this is budget 4G LTE smartphone and priced at CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8,000). The Pegasus 2 Plus X550 is a successor of the Pegasus X002.
Asus Pegasus 2 Plus X550 smartphone looks similar to the ZenFone 2, it comes with a metal frame made of CNC machining. The phone comes in rose gold and white color options. The Pegasus 2 Plus X550 features with 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) display, it is powered by a 64-bit Octa- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor inside. While the Pegasus X002 came with 5-inch HD (720p) display and 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor.
The phone comes with 3 GB of RAM and Dual SIM card connectivity. It comes with 13 megapixels camera on the back side with LED flash and 8 megapixels front facing camera. The phone is packed with 3030 mAh battery that keeps running it and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box with latest Zen UI running on top.
