Fear
What are you scared of? What do you fear?
Is it the feeling of death? Or maybe, Death himself?
Perhaps you fear the god? Or, the gods?
Perhaps, it is nothing you fear.
No, not that you are fearless, no.
Perhaps you fear that you are nothing, or maybe the feeling of nothing? It is quite terrifying. Trust me, I know.
Tell me, what do you truly fear?
Is it the hollow shell you will someday become?
Or is it, everything?
No, not that you are terrified of everything, no.
It is the fear that everything is going to hurt you. That, someday, the noise and feelings will become too much.
Perhaps you fear others? Or maybe, you fear yourself.
The fear of oneself, is, to me, the worst fear of all.
It is, you could say, a fear that is inescapable.
The only way to escape oneself, is by facing every other fear.
You must face death, and even Death himself.
You must face nothing and everything.
And, in the end, you may have to face one of three fears.
The fear of the gods above.
The fear of the god above.
Or, you will forever face the fear of nothing.
Now, tell me, are you afraid?
You must be, for fear, it is the only thing that will let you survive.
