cool and new art tip for everyone:

after youre done with your art and its saved as a png or whatever, open it again and open a screen clipping layer above it. then get some fluffy watercolor brush or whatever youd like and surround the outside of the art or wherever the lightsource is, then blur the shit out of it and turn the opacity down. lighting 101

Arabella was sat at the edge of the party, sipping at a very full cup full of some mysterious alcoholic substance. Fred Weasley had tried to describe what all was in the punch, but she hadn’t fully understood. It tasted good and was successful in getting her buzzed, so she wasn’t questioning the contents. She observed the festivities, watching as her peers got drunk, played games and danced. Another Cooking Club rager, and she was thankful for it. It had only been a month and a half since New Years, and she was still getting adjusted to life without the Mulciber name. She was content to just sit there and drink for a while, that is, until a favorite song came over the wireless.

“Yes!” she exclaimed, rising to her feet. Apparently she had moved a little too quickly, however, as she spilled about half of her drink, the liquid splashing onto the Room of Requirement’s floor. “Shit,” she commented quietly, before someone else’s voice caught her attention.

“Would you like a bigger glass?” came the joking tone of Rose Weasley, who was smirking at her from a few feet away, “The better to hold all your liquor?” The tease was clearly nonjudgemental, if only a little amused. Arabella couldn’t help but laugh.

“I like your thinking, Weasley,” she replied with a friendly smile. This party was truly turning out to be a fun time. She was glad that she had come out. Valentine’s Day wasn’t exactly her favorite holiday, but so far, she wasn’t regretting making an appearance.
