This one was a first for me, I have never made a stamp before, and this feather was my third try 😁 #100dayproject

renew. recycle. repurpose.
I remember back when I first started bending...I could feel the creative juices running through my veins! I would take old things and repurpose them. I admit, I used to be quite the hoarder...saving old things I had until it was their time to be remade or renewed! Sometimes I kept these things for years and they never had their chance!! They eventually start to pile up and I have to sift through them once again to weed out what I think still has potential to be repurposed. Old pens lost their ink and paper clips were bent out of shape to the point of no return! But this old eraser...it got a chance! :) I took my exacto knife and started to carve. It took a lot of patience but I was happy with my feather stamp. The stamp became the first staple of my business. I would stamp every envelope before shipping out orders. This was way before I opened up my Etsy! Unfortunately the stamp is long gone...it was malled to death by my puppy. Haha! I wonder what shape to carve next?
