In the advent of different color shades( some even defy naming!😂), Instead of purchasing pre-dyed feathers, i sometimes make my own. By dyeing my own feathers, i create unique shades and custom color combinations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Natural, clean white feathers work best, rather than synthetic versions that may not accept the chosen dye material. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So that was how i was dyeing this feather to get a particular shade of pink that they call onion( correct me mbok!). When it dried, this is the color that I saw!!😮😮 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway, all was not lost because it turned out that the feathers picked all the other colors on the fabric apart from the Onion color!!🙄🙄😂😂. So the customer got her own customised and unique feather color😜😁.....and she loved it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have heard some really funny color names, especially in Naija....
