firm believer that angels are everywhere if you know where to look. that nice top you bought that's the perfect colour is an angel. that streetlamp that lights up your nights outside your window and makes you feel safe is an angel. pretty coloured fairylights and delicious food and a random cat that let you pet it and the sound of snow crunching and warm sunlight and good music and soap with your favourite scent and blossoming trees in spring and orange leaves in autumn and a neighbour smiling at you and

a curious angel that stares into wells and drains when it hears noises coming from them. it's only running water but it sits on the concrete ground with its newly formed legs crossed and stares down at inky blackness

a curious angel that licks rocks it found on the ground to identify what it is. it tastes geology, the endless amounts of hands and eyes that have seen and touched the rock, and the earth's love on its tongue.

a curious angel with no concept of privacy that looks into every window it sees, wipes condensation from bus windows so it can see the streets speed by. a curious angel that loves to watch and observe.

a curious angel that is like a delighted dog when it smells things. an angel that goes to barbecues and restaurants, smelling everything but eating only the plates and cutlery because it tastes best.

a curious angel that sees families at parks and yearns for that feeling of kinship that they haven't felt since they were in the heavens. an angel that adopts a pet bird because it sees feathers and Knows that this is what angels look like on earth
