Feather Tales

Judy Abbott makes nature-inspired home decor and wall art using sustainably sourced materials such as found feathers, pine cones, moss, wood and rocks from the Sierras. Her husband, a wood worker slices up the wood pieces which Judy uses to create her signature designs with feather art. 

Judy started using feather and wood in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since, “It’s so relaxing to make circle designs with all the feathers. I start from the outside and work inward never knowing what it will be until I make each row. I have continued with Feather Wreaths and added Wood Treasure boxes, Wall art, Christmas ornaments and recently we have added rustic table center pieces which are used for weddings. It is a passion that never stops.”
