👕: What is your muse’s fashion sense like?
honestly, he’ll wear just about anything, so long as he finds it to be nice and comfortable. he prefers to wear scarves with most everything, though, but the type of scarf depends on what season it is. summer requires lighter scarves, for example. he also has a thing for boots, and would like to try wearing those cat tights one day...
💕: Does your muse have any crushes? 🚑: Does your muse have any disabilities/impairments?
Does your muse have any crushes?
Short answer: Hot chocolate and his cane. Nope.
Long answer: He’s kept himself poised for so long as the peacemaker and pillar of beacon because negative energy and emotions draw grimm. Some other stuff has been repressed in the process. He’s just now starting to really allow familial affection to stick, and he’s hesitant, even perhaps a little scared about that?? We’ll see.
Does your muse have any disabilities/impairments?
Age might be catching up to him sometimes with that cane and his glasses, but we’ve seen him walk alright without the cane and the glasses might be for show so… probably not? I’m not entirely sure.
👻 YOUR MUSE TELLING MINE A SPOOKY STORY BY TORCHLIGHT
❝…..❞
Hugging his doll as he listened to the man. Yumeno wasn’t really a kid who would get easily scare with this kind of stories. His find with them. The story does sound a bit scary tho. The man finishes his story and the kid claps with a smile on his face.
❝ Nice story, onii-san! tell me another one! I want to hear another one! ❞
From the beginning, magic isn’t exactly an uncommon thing in Nohr. Not in the military and probably not in day-to-day life either. For this reason, I’d have to imagine that Charlotte probably has fairly positive feelings regarding magic. At the very least she wouldn’t regard it with anything worse than warm neutrality.
On the battlefield though, it’s something to be wary of. Something capable of great destruction. Weaving their spells from the backlines, mages can decimate their foes without getting anywhere near them. For as much faith as she has in her axe and her prowess, Charlotte knows that none of it matters if she can’t even close the distance.
The notion that looks can be deceiving…. well, that’s not something she’s unfamiliar with. Yet still, it might frustrate her sometimes. The fact that an average looking individual, armed with nothing more than a tome, can be just as deadly as she is. From more than twice the range, no less.
While obviously game mechanics should be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to characterization, Charlotte’s default alternative class is Troubadour, a healing class. Heart Seals, the item used to have characters change into their default alternative class, state that they “[change] a unit’s class based on personality”. Accordingly, I can’t help but feel that this says something about her. In Charlotte’s case, I think it’s pretty clear to see why Troubadour suits her.
To be able to help the sick and heal the wounded, all with a bright smile on her face. Her virtues further highlighted, she’d feign concern for each and every comrade-in-arms as they’d come to her bruised and battered after battle. Yeah. That’d all fit in perfectly with her normal act.
But… there’s more to it than that too. Mages are fragile people. People who rely on their wit and intelligence, rather than on brute strength. People who’ve built their minds, rather than their bodies. People who hold respected places in society. People who are… absolutely nothing like Charlotte.
I don’t think Charlotte regrets the path shes taken in life, but it’s not as though she doesn’t sometimes express doubts or frustrations. Sure, her efforts to be dainty and demure are just acts. Airs she puts on for the sake of others. Means an end. But… that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want them to be real at times. There are quite a few moments where she does express embarrassment over her true self, and her reliance on brute strength. Where she concludes that few people, if anyone at all, could like her for who she really is. I can’t help but think that there are probably times when she wishes she could be a porcelain maiden, bringing relief to the masses with her healing stave. That parts of her act could be earnest personality, and that she could be popular without having to lie about who she is. She probably has some degree of magic potential, but was never given the opportunity to foster it’s growth. And so it remains a talent squandered by the circumstances of her upbringing. A far off dream that crosses her mind from time to time.

//The very early episodes of Adventure Time absolutely kill me. The times from before they had their loose “plot” established, and when they seemed to have a cute concept of a very weird, almost ugly art styled show... I can’t stand those early episodes. Like, I totally get why they’re different--they were still feeling their way around the show, still trying to figure out what worked and what didn’t. But now, watching those episodes after they’ve come so far, like watching that first episode where PB accidentally makes a zombie horde that comes and attacks the castle..... watching that after watching something like Broke His Crown.... They’ve gotten soooo much better as time’s gone on.
So really. If you haven’t watched adventure time and it’s because those first few episodes are so bad, trust me. That’s not what the show is. The show has become so much more than a bunch of talking candy people and a kid who shouts about things being “mathematical”.
