Yesterday's drawings. I bought Stanley Rogers "Tales of a Traveller" from an oppy for the illustrations, thinking the stories would be interesting too - and they are. I drew my version of Feather River Canyon. Rogers had worked there for a while in 1906, on the building of a railway - that line across the rocky hillside, which is still in use and is now on my bucket list. Juni set up an Art Club on the dining table earlier - poster paints on cartridge paper isn't my ideal, but fun. The day was warm and humid (yuk), with storm clouds all around the ACT but not raining on us until the evening - when we stood outside getting damp and watching fruit bats fly over.( with Banjo and Juni yelling "don't poop on us!) #art #artwork #stanleyrogers #featherrivercanyon #thrifted #oldbook #inkdrawing #journal #grannytime #joyofpainting #stormclouds #summer (at Canberra, Australian Capital Territory) https://www.instagram.com/p/CI4JG2jLqad/?igshid=31nk3cgz3x9f
