Hi, i love all of your designs! I hope this question isnt too personal but your appearances are quite diverse! Is there a particular reason for that?
Aw thanks! As for why our appearances are so diverse, that's a good question! A lot of us show up with appearance already in hand, and we never really questioned it? Like, for example, 38's first act on fronting was to draw out a full on notated reference sheet for itself. It just KNEW that's how it looked.
So, since a lot of us split already looking one way, that appearance is probably decided by whatever caused us to split, which means that it'll differ pretty significantly, since we all split for different reasons? However, that's not universally the case- some of us don't have any idea what we look like at first. It's also likely in part because we just don't really have any of us who associate with the body's appearance at all? Which avoids a pretty big factor that'd otherwise cause us to converge in appearance.
