parental abuse is my father refusing to leave me alone during a meltdown after I repeatedly told him he was MAKING THE PROBLEM WORSE and also him

-holding my inheritance over my head (i could care less, he’s an abusive prick)

-telling me i was “upsetting my sister”

-him threatening to record me because i was “having bad behavior”

-him taking my computer

-him taking my pillows, blankets, and charging cords. i need to get out of this house.

This is parental abuse and ableism.

You deserve support and accommodations during meltdowns, not threats and punishment.

My mom once said I was lucky she wasn't like her mom, or she'd smack me. She tried to twist it later to something else, but that's still a fucking threat.

Telling a child they’re “lucky” they aren’t treated worse (as if good treatment is something that’s earned) is abuse.
