Supermin experiments
Richard Jones (Red Hat Emerging Technologies) continues his amazing virtualization work with a new release (supermin 5) of supermin. supermin is a very small (< 100K) appliance ideally suited to distribution. Upon instantiation on the host it bulks up incredibly quickly. Its properties are mostly achieved by using pointers to known shared functions in the environment, for example it assumes that /bin/bash is available and links to it. Custom static files can be linked into the supermin. The full manpage is worth a squint.
