Finished my Diploma of Graphic Design, passed everything. Got a Folio full of stuff, exhibited at the Grad Show. Getting geared up for a solo exhibition in early 2020, got good people to curate for me. Pathwaying into the Advanced Diploma. A good year. Looking forward to some quiet photographic time over the break.

Did a Studio shoot today with a buddy, and two lovely young models from his church. We shot on medium format film, and used hand held light metering for exposure, but also used DSLR shots in the way polaroid filmbacks were used back in the day to fine tune our film shots.

The Post Office Gallery

Upstairs are the student art studios. It never ceases to amaze me that folks can live in a place their whole lives and never see the views from upstairs windows of a place that they’re totally familiar with. I’m thinking of doing the 3-year fine arts degree just to sit upstairs in this beautiful building.. and paint.
