FedEx Driver Folds Flag, Places it Back on Porch After High Winds
Ferndale, Maryland – On November 28, FedEx driver Mike King saw that the flag pole at a home had fallen over on their yard from the high winds. He exited his vehicle, folded the flag properly, and respectfully laid in safely on a table on the front porch. All of it was caught on camera. Welp
I've resigned from FedEx Ground, time to go and get some ice cream!
Things I love about my FedEx job
Great pay!
Managers treat you more than just a cog in the machine, they treat you like you’re their good friend (believe me the guys I work for are the kind of guys I can brofist when it’s time to go home)
They FEED you, treat you with KFC, Pizza, Chinese food, etc. We get a taco truck and barbeque on really special occasions. Also during meetings they give out chips and cookies.
Plant closed off to customers—you need a badge to get through security when entering the facility.
No standard boring store music.
Easy mindless work (you just wear a scanner and if beeps specifically to tell you if package is on file or not).
Not required to being overtly social, you just unload/load trucks (half the time it’s by yourself or you can help another package handler) and that’s pretty much it.
Work is only 6-7 hours depending on package volume.
It’s kinda laborious, but it doesn’t leave you exhausted, more like “just leaving the gym after a workout” feeling.
Speaking of workout, you can burn up 2000 calories per shift.
Yeah been there for over a year and I still sing praises about it! :3

Sloths are the slowest mammal on earth. Moving at 0.17 miles per hours. This is unfortunate because their major predator is much faster. These include large cats like jaguars that can move up to 50 miles per hour. Another preparator that relies on speed and stealth is the package thief. While their pray is often unaware until it is too late. Its never a good idea to approach these predators. Its best to avoid them all together by renting a mailbox at Your Shipping Center. #yourshippingcenter #mailboxrental #fedex #dhlexpress #freightshipping #GLSshipping #notary #apostilleservices
I work in a warehouse and I can be a klutz sometimes.
I get these things sometimes. 🤔
So, what do you do when you get ready for work, it's 4am 🕓 and you see a text on your phone 📱 that there is no work?
There wasn't that much snow 🌨 but I don't want to go out anyway. 🤔
Edit: I just found out what to do with the salami sandwich 🥪 I made..
