Jesus Feeds Five Thousand
Hi, everyone! I, Andrew are here again to share with you another memorable event with Jesus. However, this time I would share the miracle of Jesus. Hope you enjoy reading it.
Unfortunately, we were told that John The Baptist, who was also Jesus’s cousin had just been executed and buried. When Jesus heard the news, he left in a boat to a remote area to be alone. Then, we heard where he was headed and followed on foot from many towns. Jesus saw me, others disciple and a huge crowd of people as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on us and healed our sick.
In that evening, me and the others disciple came to Jesus and said, ‘‘This is a remote place, and it is already getting late. Sent the crowds away so they can go to the villages to buy food for themselves.’’
However, Jesus said, ‘‘That isn’t necessary - you feed them.’’
I was shock to hear that because we don’t have enough food to feed the huge crowds of people. Also, we don’t even have enough money to buy for them to eat.
We answered, ‘‘But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish!’’
Then, Jesus asked us to bring the huge crowds of people here. After that, he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then, he gave them to me and others disciples, and we gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and we picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
‘‘Wow, it is a miracle! It was very unbeliavable! Jesus use five loaves of bread and two fish to feed five thousand of people!’’ I said.
Then, the huge crowds of people cheered for Jesus. Jesus suppose to be alone in this remote area. However, the huge crowds of people followed Jesus and bring joy to him. Before that, I was worrying Jesus would be very sad when he heard the news. But now, I am not worried at all.
