He began his interest in electronic music around 15 years ago. His sets are deep and hypnotic techno and occasionally performs more ambient and experimental. He released on several labels and his debut album in 2014 was titled 'Other Side Of The Planet' on Dirty Stuff Records. Upcoming releases include an EP on Circular Limited and is currently working on a second album.But right now it's time to Feed The Raver. Enjoy!"Bio: Tawbaq is a young, ambitious and talented DJ / Producer and Owner Label of Hypnotic Landscapes Records. His adventure with electronics began around 2000. The musical style of what he play is mainly Deep/Dub/Techno. There are also gigs where the play Ambient/Experimental.Tawbaq music are well accepted as hypnotic,deepness sounds and experimenting with ambient soundscapes. The intensity of this dark concept is expertly weaved into the deep techno sound of Dorian Gray where Moreno keeps a strong focus on meticulous ambient loops moving into hypnotic techno rhythms. Moreno’s early influences hark back to the dark electronic 80s new wave sound but there are also jazz influences which have helped him coin the descriptive term of “afro-futurist techno”. Production work aside, (noteworthy his last outing with Edit Select Remix), Moreno firmly states that his first love is DJing where he continues to push forward, proving his talent through winning competitions and taking on various booking across Europe, in his native Italy and trips to his home from home, Berlin. His sets lean towards deep, hypnotic dark sounds and include his own unreleased productions with a very distinct acid flare. He has played alongside some great artists at showcases in New York and is often featured at our Twice as Proper events. We had him on Feed The Raver a few years ago and his sound has been in constant evolution. He released several EP’s and recently an album called “Celestial Meridian” released on Aerotropic label from NYC.
