Honest with myself

I want a love affair that lasts a lifetime.

This is my face after finally submitting my dissertation. I've been in post secondary education for 11 years now, meaning I've spent over a third of my life trying to get to this point. In about two months, I will have to defend the work I've done during the past 4 years and I will officially be a PhD. I've worked so hard to get here. Stayed up so many nights, missed parties, dinners, vacations and missed out on being properly paid as an electrical engineer. If I had a choice I would do it all over again, I'll make the same choices and live through the same hardships because THIS is where I want to be. This is what I want to do. Thank you to all of you who supported me during this journey, who heard me bitch, rant, cry and doubt. Who also heard me rave about my work and passionately describe the importance of what I'm doing. Who laughed with me and made this fun. Special thanks to @cserhal for always being there for me even when you weren't completely into my decisions.
