I love showing off my pink outfits 🎀🩷
Good morning 💗 I'm ready for my office duties 📁
If you can let me know ladies 😁
OK, I would love if you could write a Chase Davenport x reader where the reader is a student at the bionic Island and she flirts with Chase almost how Bob flirts with Bree but Chase always kind of just brushed her off because he saw it as unprofessional until like something happens or however, you would want that to be done and he realizes he may feel the same way
requested!
pairing: Chase x flirty!reader
proof read?: yes, but still might have errors.
notes: tysm for the request! i hope it is to your liking! i’m sorry there isn’t much flirting, i’m just not good at typing up flirting, i did try tho! also, Chase is a little one the mean side, hope that isn’t a problem! please enjoy!
You were one of the lucky ones to be able to go to the Bionic Island, to hone your skills and practice training.
You one of the very few people who had been recommended by Donald Davenport himself!
To call that an honor was an understatement.
You had been going to the academy, for quite some time. You knew your way around, but you were still new to the environment.
You were picked to have Bree as your mentor, and you loved having her teach you.
But when you seen the other mentor, you couldn’t keep your eyes off him.
Any chance you got, you’d always talk with him, but it never ended at that with you. You’d talk with him, but slide in a few flirtatious replies in there.
At first it was sweet to Chase, he didn’t mind hearing that he was a good-looking man. He rarely got it during his time at Mission Creek, so he welcomed all the sweet talk.
But then it started getting… repetitive..
Everytime, you’d see him. Flirtatious remark, after flirtatious remark, after flirtatious remark.
He had wanted it to stop, as he was starting to feel it was getting to be too much, and distracting you from why you were actually there.
To enhance your understanding in your bionics and how to use them.
But seeing Chase made you forget about it that fact.
He didn’t want to hurt your feelings, but he didn’t want you to ruin your chances here.
He couldn’t bring himself to tell you off about it, until one day.
“Hey, Bree. I need to ask you something.” You called out to Bree, as you jogged into the training room.
“What’s up?”
“Have you seen Chase anywhere?”
“I haven’t, why?”
“It seems like he’s trying to ignore me, almost everyday that I’ve been here.”
“I’m sure that’s not the case, oh! Look. There he is now.” She said and walked us over to him, meeting in the middle of the room.
“Chase. (Y/N) was looking for you.”
“Hey, Chase. You look good today—”
“Don’t lie the poor kid, (Y/N).” Adam said, walking up to the two of you with a skirt on (don’t ask.)
“Oh, no. No lies here. He is in fact, incredibly good looking.”
With that they all went back to conversing amongst themselves.
Chase was describing a new training plan that would have the new kids, getting a hold of their bionics faster.
“That’s awesome. When do we start using it?” Bree asked.
“Right now, actually. (Y/N)?”
“Yes, handsome?” He huffed and brushed this compliment off.
“Would you like to test it out first?”
“Sure, will you be joining me?” You asked and Chase shook his head.
“I’ll be watching the results from over here. Just do whatever comes naturally.”
The test wasn’t very long, and since you already had knowledge on your use of your bionics, you aced that part of training.
“Awesome, you great!”
“Thanks. Of course, I had to show off a little bit, show you how good I am with what I was given.” You said and only resulting in Chase, raising his voice at you.
“Will you stop?” He said, looking at you with fury in his eyes. “You are a student and I am your mentor. What you are saying and doing is highly, highly unprofessional. You were recommended by Mr. Davenport. He thinks highly of you and your potential, but what you’re doing is getting out of hand.”
“I’m sorry. It won’t happen again, I—”
“That’s not enough this time, you’re done for the day.”
“Chase.. wha— Surely, you don’t mean that.”
“Go.” He said, not budging. He had had enough of your actions, not just today, but all the attempts at you flirting with him.
You began to walk away from him, feeling extremely embarrassed. “For someone who, is training to be a hero, you aren’t acting like one.”
“Chase! They didn’t mean to upset you. You’re taking it too far.”
And, with that you picked up the pace. Suddenly, you didn’t want to be there anymore. Not just in the training room, but in the academy itself.
‘He’s right, no hero acts this way. That’s not what a hero does. Maybe I’m not cut out for it..’
You waited till nighttime befell upon the academy, got into the Hydro-Loop, and… left.
He didn’t want you to leave no, but he didn’t have to.
You made that decision for the both of you.
“Hey, uh.. have you seen ____?” Leo asked, walking up to Chase and Adam.
“Last I seen them, we were in the training room, and I sent them to the dorms.”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Leo, why wouldn’t I be sure?” Chase asking, turning his body to face him fully. Leo passed a note to him, and all of them looked at it.
Chase finished reading it faster, as he had bionics to thank for it.
“They dropped out of the academy.”
“I’d drop out too if I had to see Chase everyday.”
“You do see Chase everyday.” Leo replied.
“You’re right. Hey, can I drop out too?” Adam asked, with his hand raised.
Chase didn’t even want to respond to Adam, even if he did, his legs carried him out of the room before he even realized it.
He was blindsided, by something he didn’t know he felt inside.
Was it the guilt, eating away at him?
Or was it something a little more complex?
On his way to Mission Creek, only then had he realized that actually cared about you.
More than just a mentor and student point of view.
That whole ideology of him wanting to be a good mentor and good example came crashing down, as soon as he found out you left.
He was no longer chasing the thrive to show Donald he could uphold the academy. How his sole focus was making sure the students were in tune with their bionics.
He only wanted you.
He was chasing after you.
