Hello there, I just came across your page, I too am an under graduate ceramists so I hope to experiemnt with some of your recipes. I was wondering, what country are you from? Sometimes the purity of ingredients and recipes depend on location. Thanks, Georgia.

I’m from the United States; the city I live in and was taught ceramics in is in central Illinois. Most of the materials in the local studio where I gathered the first hundred or so recipes are from the eastern half of the United States; the clay definitely came from Kentucky. Most of the other recipes I’ve gathered seem to be American in origin, but more than that, I don’t know.
