Encouraged

So I’ve been passing a story I wrote around to a few of my co-workers at the library where I work.  I’ve gotten really positive feedback and for better or worse it’s really boosted my confidence in my writing. It’s possible that they’re just being nice but their enthusiasm seems to go beyond mere politeness. One person even sent me a text after reading it beginning with “Holy shit, Jo!”  which seemed like pretty decent praise.  I’d worked pretty hard wit that story and felt like it was pretty decent but that was all in my head.  It’s nice to know that it’s pretty decent in other people’s heads too.
